WILKES-BARRE — A 17-year-old suspected of DUI has been charged, city police said.

According to the police report, the female’s vehicle was observed around 10:51 p.m. Thursday on Carey Avenue with its hazard lights on. The officer on patrol then discovered that the vehicle had driven into a curb and incurred damage.

Police said the driver, was suspected to be DUI and taken to headquarters for BAC testing. A BAC result of .140 was observed for the juvenile. She was released to her parents and charges were filed, police said.
