Isolated areas of traffic congestion reported in the Wyoming Valley this morning

Commuters could encounter some isolated areas of traffic congestion on the ride into work and school this morning.

Interstate 81 is reporting heavy congestion in the northbound lanes south of Dupont, but Interstate 476 is free of congestion.

Isolated areas of traffic congestion are reported on Route 315, and Route 115 is reporting heavy congestion near East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of traffic congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. Minor congestion is reported in the southbound lanes of the South Cross Valley Expressway.

Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Hazle Street is reporting minor and heavy congestion in the area of South Pennsylvania Boulevard.

Minor congestion is also reported on North River Street in the area of Hollenback Cemetery.

In Kingston, isolated areas of minor congestion are reported throughout Wyoming Avenue.
