Wyoming Valley can expect pleasant Sunday with no rain in the forecast

Sunday in the Wyoming Valley will be pleasant with gusty winds in the forecast.

The National Weather Service indicated that it was 72 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, with sunny skies and a few clouds reported.

Today will will be sunny and feature a high near 75. There will be a southwest wind in the morning, which could gust as high as 30 mph. Tonight will be partly cloudy with a low around 51.

Monday will be mostly sunny with a high near 71. Monday night will feature mostly cloudy skies with a low around 52 with no precipitation in the forecast. The next chance of showers will come on Thursday.
