Scattered areas of traffic congestion in the Wyoming Valley should do little to impact the commute this morning.

Free-flowing traffic is reported on Interstates 81 and 476. Minor congestion is reported on Route 315 near East Main Street, and heavy congestion is reported on Route 115 in the area of East Mountain Boulevard.

The North Cross Valley Expressway is free of congestion, but some could be encountered on the off-ramps. The South Cross Valley Expressway is also free of congestion.

Downtown, isolated areas of minor and heavy congestion are reported on Wilkes-Barre Boulevard and onto South Wilkes-Barre Boulevard. Minor congestion is also reported on Hazle and North River streets.
