The Junior Mints from the Pittston David Blight School of Dance recently competed at the Talent Olympics held at the Split Rock Resort, Lake Harmony. Upon competing in the 16 and up age group division, they won second place in modern, tap, jazz and hip-hop. They took third place in lyrical. The Junior Mints also won the opportunity to dance in the ‘Big D’ spin-off. The dancers are instructed by Kelli Howatch, who also won the professionalism award.
