Sunny skies and 90-degree temperatures will continue in the Wyoming Valley this weekend, followed by a chance of showers and thunderstorms on Monday.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 81 degrees as of 9:21 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fair skies were reported.

Sunny skies are expected today, with a high near 93. Mostly clear skies will follow tonight, with a low around 66.

Sunny conditions will continue on Sunday, with a high near 93, with winds calm before becoming west around 6 mph in the afternoon.

Partly cloudy skies will follow into Sunday night, with the low around 69.

On Monday, it will be party sunny with a high around 89 and a chance of showers and thunderstorms. Chance of precipitation is 50%.

The chance of showers and thunderstorms continues into Monday Night under mostly cloudy conditions and a low around 71. Chance of precipitation is 30%.
