Rain continues today and Sunday in the Wyoming Valley

The wet weather will continue today in the Wyoming Valley with showers likely through Sunday.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 57 degrees as of 8:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and overcast conditions was reported.

Today’s forecast calls for scattered showers, mainly after 10 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 62. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Tonight, showers are likely, mainly before 11 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 57. Chance of precipitation is 60 percent.

There is a chance of showers on Sunday, mainly after 1 p.m. Mostly cloudy, with a high near 71. Chance of precipitation is 30 percent.

The chance of showers continues Sunday night, mainly before 1 a.m. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 53. Chance of precipitation is 40 percent.

Monday is expected to bring a slight chance of showers. Partly sunny, with a high near 70.

Monday night will be partly cloudy, with a low around 51.
