Temperatures are expected to stay abnormally warm in the Wyoming Valley into the midweek.

The National Weather Service indicated it was 58 degrees as of 6:54 a.m. at the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton International Airport, and fog and mist were reported.

Patchy fog is expected before 10 a.m. this morning — otherwise, mostly cloudy skies are expected today, along with a 30 percent chance of showers before 2 p.m. Less than a tenth of an inch of total rainfall is expected, and the high will be near 76.

Mostly cloudy skies will gradually clear tonight, and the low will be around 60.

Sunny skies are expected on Tuesday, and the high will be near 82. Clouds will increase into Tuesday night, with a low around 63.

Partly sunny skies are expected on Wednesday, with a high near 78.

Mostly cloudy skies will follow into Wednesday night, along with a slight chance of showers after 9 p.m. The low will be around 56.
