Patricia F. Stella, president of the Greater Pittston Chamber of Commerce, has announced that USHydrations, formerly Nature’s Way Purewater Systems, Inc., will be this year’s recipient of the Chamber’s Outstanding Business of the Year Award.

The award will be presented at 97th Annual dinner meeting Aug. 24 at Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter. Registration and cocktail hour will begin at 5:30 p.m.

USHydrations is a diversified premier beverage manufacturing company headquartered in Pittston. It occupies an over 400,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility on a 50-acre site.

In business for almost 20 years, USHydrations serves some of the most prominent national and global brands. In addition to the manufacturing site, the company maintains state of the art quality control testing labs, storage facilities and natural spring water sites. In the past four years, the company has more than doubled its workforce in its 24/7 manufacturing facility. During the same period, the company has also made substantial capital investments to improve its manufacturing capabilities and capacities.

USHydrations was acquired by Sandy Insalaco Sr. in 2000. Through his investment, leadership and business acumen, USHydrations expanded its market reach to establish itself as a global contract manufacturer.
