PITTSTON — The Pittston Area field hockey team has scheduled its annual “I Am Beautiful” charity game for Oct. 7 to raise self-image awareness.
The day’s activities will start at 1 p.m. with the junior high team playing an exhibition against teachers and parents. The game will feature two 15-minute halves with coaches serving as officials.
Arrangements are still being made for an opponent, to be determined, for Pittston Area’s 2 p.m. varsity game.
The varsity game will be followed by Pittston Area boys playing in an upperclassmen vs. underclassmen contest.

Raffle baskets, bake sales, $10 shirt sales will be part of the fundraising will all proceeds going to the National Eating Disorder Association (NEDA).
