Misericorida University honors employees for years of service

DALLAS TWP. – Misericordia University honored staff and faculty for service at the 38th Annual Awards Dinner in Sandy and Marlene Insalaco Hall. The 74 honorees were recognized for five-year increments of service.

Mari P. King of Scranton was commended for 40 years of service during the program, while Frank DiPino of Shickshinny, Amy Lahart of Exeter, Cynthia March, RSM, of Dallas, and Patrick Touhey of Dallas received recognition for 25 years of service.

The following employees were honored for 20 years of service: Denis Anson, Noxen; Gwen Bartolacci, Dallas; Michele Castle, Wilkes-Barre; Joan Foster, Dallas; Brenda Hage, Dallas; Jeanne VanDuzer, Tunkhannock, and Marianne “Molly” Vitale, West Pittston.

Those who received accolades for 15 years of service were Susan Barker, Drums; Kimberly Caffrey, Dallas; Patrick Cleary, Dallas; Janet Gow, Nanticoke; Susan Lazur, Dallas; John Mellon, Drums; Kathleen Postupak, Dallas; James Ricardo, Dallas; Donna Samanas, Pittston; Anthony Serino, Shavertown; James Siberski, West Nanticoke; Catherine Silveri, Plains; Robyn Stahovic, Plains, and Theresa Thomas, Dallas.

Celebrating 10 years of service were Michele Brague, West Wyoming; Peter Egbert, Shavertown; Kathleen Gelso, Dallas; Richard Haydt, Mountain Top; Sylvia Maas, Dallas; Paige May, Dallas; Patrick McKamy, Wyoming; Allen Minor, Roaring Brook Twp.; Rachel Oberg, Shavertown; Brian O’Neil, Harveys Lake; Larry Pellegrini, Pittston Township; Kathy Pesta, Lehman Township; Marianne Puhalla, Forty Fort; Lisa Shaw, Hunlock Creek; Susan Sheridan, Dallas; Corina Slaff, Shavertown; Mark Stull, Dallas; Daniel Williams, Shawanese, and Ruixia “Rachel” Yan, Mountain Top.
