Pittston Area field hockey team sponsors charity field hockey game on Oct. 11

HUGHESTOWN — The Pittston Area field hockey team will hold its sixth annual “I Am Beautiful” charity field hockey game at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 11 at the Bucky Harris Sports Complex at the Pittston Primary Center in Hughestown.

The girls will play an inter-squad scrimmage and afterwards senior and junior boys will take on the challenge to get out onto the field. This has traditionally been an extremely humorous event.

Price of admission is $3 and there will also be a bake sale and basket raffles from local businesses. All proceeds will go to the National Eating Disorder Association.
