Felittese Association of Old Forge holding 5K Run and Fun Walk Sept. 10

OLD FORGE — The Felittese Association of Old Forge will hold its Sixth Annual 5K Race and Fun Walk for Our Lady of Constantinople at 8:30 a.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 at Old Forge High School Football Stadium, 301 1st St.

New to the race this year are prizes to the first male and female finisher of Felittese descent.

The race is part of the Festival of the Felittese honoring the 227th anniversary of Our Lady of Constantinople, Felitto, Italy. The celebration features Italian specialties and live entertainment to be held from 5 to 10 p.m. Friday, Sept. 8 and Saturday, Sept. 9, as well as from noon to 10 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10 on the church grounds, 145 Third St.

Proceeds benefit the Prince of Peace Parish, Old Forge, and local charities.
