Four-way tie for first place in Yatesville Bocce League

YATESVILLE — The top of the standings in the Yatesville Bocce League looks like State Route 315 at 5 p.m. in Pittston Township — a bottleneck.

Atlas Realty and Blandina Apartments both went undefeated this week. Atlas, led by Paul Santarelli, Charlie Adonizio, Henry Rhodegherio and Dave Ziegler, won three matches. Blandina Apartments, behind Bob Barbacci, Dave Stull and Phil Bosha, won both matches to join the logjam in first place.

This is the first time the league has ever had a four-way tie for first place. Points accumulated serve as a tie-breaker for all places except first. The final three weeks in the second half should prove to be very interesting not only for first place but also for seventh place and the last playoff spot.
