KWIK ‘N EZ Market wins three to take second half Yatesville Bocce League title

YATESVILLE — KWIK ‘N EZ Market finished out the second half of Yatesville Bocce League play in style by winning three matches to ice the second half title. The marketeers are led by Sonny Bonomo with great help from Tony Russo, Dino Rhodegherio and Ed “chairman of the boards” Seprish. The first half playoffs will begin next week.

Plans are set for the annual tournament on Saturday, Aug. 29 with at least 12 teams participating.

In other tournament news, the Yatesville Bocce League was well represented last weekend in the Keystone UNICO tournament held at Arcaro & Genell’s restaurant in Old Forge. Dr. John Cacciamani and Phil Bosha teamed with Jack and Don Stetz of Scranton as the Walker Law Firm to win the tournament in undefeated style. Sonny Bonomo and Jim Blandina partnered with Frank Anelli and Sarah Retura as Sonny’s Stars to place third.
