PA Football Booster meeting Jan. 5
YATESVILLE — The Pittston Area Football Booster Club will meet at 6 p.m. Tuesday in the high school cafeteria, 5 Stout St. Officers for the booster club will be elected and there will be discussions for the upcoming season and Night at the Races.
PA Lady Patriots Booster Club meeting Jan. 7
YATESVILLE — The Lady Patriots Basketball Booster Club will meet at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Pittston Area High School cafeteria.
Pink Out game scheduled for Jan. 8
YATESVILLE — The Pittston Area Lady Patriots basketball team will host a Pink Out game against Wyoming Valley West Friday. All players on the freshman, JV and Varsity teams for both schools, as well as fans in attendance, will wear special Pink Out shirts.
The event is a National Honor Society project organized by Pittston Area’s Marley O’Brien, Jamie Chisdock and Taryn Ashby from the Patriots basketball team, as well as senior student Nicole Karuzie. Proceeds from the sale of the shirts and donations accepted at the game will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Ski Club parents wanted
