PA girls lacrosse meeting Jan. 25
YATESVILLE — The Pittston Area High School girls lacrosse club will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the high school cafeteria, 5 Stout St. All new and returning players and parents are asked to attend.
Duryea Little League registration
DURYEA — Duryea Little League will hold registrations for Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors and Softball divisions from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday at the Duryea Borough building, 315 Main St.
Fees are $50 for Tee Ball, $80 for a single player or $130 per family for all other divisions. Copy of birth certificate is required.
Diamond Club to meet Jan. 27
EXETER — The Wyoming Area Baseball Parents (Diamond Club) will have a meeting at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the secondary center room 164. Parents of players 7-12 are encouraged to attend. The upcoming season will be discussed.
WPLL holding registrations
WEST PITTSTON — The West Pittston Little League will hold 2016 registrations in the board room above the concession stand on the following dates: 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday; 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, Jan. 30; noon to 3 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 30.
Registration is $75 per child with an additional amount of $30 for a second child in the same family and $20 for any additional children in the same family after that. The registration fee covers the child’s hat, shirt, pants and socks. There is an additional $50 per family for the fundraiser. Bring three proofs of residence including a utility bill and two other forms, such as vehicle registration, insurance card, voter registration, school records or medical records.
WA softball parents to meet
EXETER — The Wyoming Area Softball Parents Association will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the secondary center. Plans for the upcoming softball season will be discussed. Officers are needed for the open 2016 board positions. If anyone is interested, plan on attending. Parents of softball players grades 7-12 are invited to attend.
KOC 372 holding free throw contest
PITTSTON — The Knights of Columbus JFK Council 372 will host a free throw contest at 9 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 30 for children ages 9 to 14 at the Martin L. Mattei Middle School, 120 New St. All winners for their age group will advance to the district championship, which will be held in February.
Exeter Little League registration
EXETER — The Exeter Lions Little League will hold baseball and softball registrations on the following dates at the Exeter Scout Home: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 9; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11; and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.
The Scout Home is located on Wyoming Avenue and Lincoln Street. Entrance is located behind the Exeter Borough Building, 1101 Wyoming Ave.

All junior and senior seeners in the Greater Pittston area must sign up through the Jenkins Township Little League online system.

AVOCA — Avoca/Dupont Little League will hold sign ups from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8; Tuesday, Feb. 9; and Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the upper Avoca Little League clubhouse. Registration fee for Tee Ball, Coach Pitch, Minor and Major baseball is $65 per player and $80 for family of two or more players.
Junior and senior teener baseball, which will again combine with Pittston, has a fee of $95 for each player. Softball players fee for Pittston Area softball is $80 per player or $130 for two or more players.
