Duryea Little League registration

DURYEA — Duryea Little League will hold its final registrations for T-ball, Coach Pitch, Minors, Majors and Softball divisions from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 2 at the Duryea Borough building, 315 Main St.

Fees are $50 for T-ball, $80 for a single player or $130 per family for all other divisions. Copy of birth certificate is required. All registrations after this date, will be subject to a $25 late fee. Anyone wishing to manage or coach a team this year should make it know at sign ups.

WA softball parents meet Feb. 4

EXETER — The Wyoming Area Softball Parents Association will meet at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the secondary center, 20 Memorial St. Plans for the upcoming softball season will be discussed. Officers are needed for the open 2016 board positions. If interested, plan on attending. Parents of softball players grades 7-12 are invited to attend.

PA girls basketball boosters to meet

YATESVILLE — The Lady Patriots Basketball Booster Club will hold a meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4 at the Pittston Area High School Cafeteria, 5 Stout St. All parents of players from grades 7-12 are invited to attend.

Exeter Little League registration

EXETER — The Exeter Lions Little League will hold baseball and softball registrations on the following dates at the Exeter Scout Home: Tuesday, Feb. 9; 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 11; and noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 13.

The Scout Home is located on Wyoming Avenue and Lincoln Street. Entrance is located behind the Exeter Borough Building, 1101 Wyoming Ave.

Jenkins Township LL registration

JENKINS TWP. — Registrations for the Jenkins Township Little League will continue until Saturday, Feb. 6. Visit www.jenkinstwplittleleague.com to sign up.

Costs are as follows: T-ball, ages 4 to 7, $50; Coach Pitch, ages 6 to 9, $75; Minors, ages 8 to 11, $75; Majors, boys and girls ages 9 to 12, $75; Junior Teeners, ages 13 to 14, $130; Senior Teeners, ages 15 to 16, $130.

All junior and senior Teeners in the Greater Pittston area must sign up through the Jenkins Township Little League online system.

PITTSTON — Pittston City Little League sign ups for participants ages 4 to 13 will be held at the field house at Sullivan Park on Hillpark Avenue on the following dates and times:

Saturday, Feb. 6 — Noon to 2 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 13 — Noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 14 — 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 20 — Noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 21 — 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Saturday, Feb. 27 — Noon to 2 p.m.

Sunday, Feb. 28 — 6 to 7:30 p.m.

Cost for sign ups will be as follows: T-ball, $30; Coach Pitch, $60; Minors, $60; Majors, $60; Juniors, $95.

Pittston Twp. LL sign ups

PITTSTON TWP. — The Pittston Township Little League will be holding final sign ups from 1 to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 6 at the Pittston Township Municipal Building, 421 Broad St. The league offers T-ball, Coach Pitch, Major and Minor Baseball or Softball. Fees are $50 for T-ball, $80 for single family or $130 per family for all other divisions.

The league is open to all children who attend Pittston Primary Center, Pittston Area Middle School or residents of Pittston Township or Hughestown. A birth certificate and two proofs of residency are required at the sign ups.

Little League sign ups for Avoca

AVOCA — Avoca/Dupont Little League will hold sign ups from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb. 8; Tuesday, Feb. 9; and Wednesday, Feb. 10 at the upper Avoca Little League clubhouse. Registration fee for T-ball, Coach Pitch, Minor and Major baseball is $65 per player and $80 for family of two or more players.

Junior and senior teener baseball, which will again combine with Pittston, has a fee of $95 for each player. Softball players fee for Pittston Area softball is $80 per player or $130 for two or more players.

Wyoming/West Wyoming Little League sign ups

WYOMING — The Wyoming/West Wyoming Little League will be holding registrations for the 2016 season at the West Wyoming Hose Co No. 2 Fire Hall, 218 Stites St., West Wyoming, on the following dates: Thursday, Feb. 11 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 13 from 10 a.m. to noon; Tuesday, Feb. 16 from 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday, Feb. 20 from 10 a.m. to noon.

Registration fees are $75 per player or $105 per family for Teeball through Major divisions and $115 per player for the Junior and Senior divisions. There is also a $50 fundraiser fee for each family due at registration for this season’s raffle drawing.

New registrants must provide a birth certificate and proof of residence Players ages 4 through 16 are eligible. Your child must turn 4 years old prior to Sept. 1, 2016. Visit www.wyomingwestwyomingll.com to download all the necessary registrations forms.

Coyote Hunt Feb. 12, 13, and 14

DURYEA — The Germania Hose Company will sponsor its third annual coyote hunt Friday-Saturday, Feb. 12, 13, and 14. Registration fee is $30 and must be submitted by Monday, Feb. 1.

Check in will be from 3 to 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday Feb. 12 and 13 and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 14 at Germania Hose Company, 430 Foote Ave. No coyotes will be accepted after 2 p.m. Sunday.

Open lacrosse clinics in February

WEST PITTSTON — The Valley Laxerz will be holding free lacrosse sessions starting the first week in February for any boy or girl that is interested in playing this year at the West Pittston Little League building, located behind the Little League fields in West Pittston.

Current or former Valley Laxerz boys are asked to bring helmets and gloves and girls are asked to bring goggles.

Extra sticks will be available on a first come-first serve basis are limited in quantity.

Any boy ages 8 to 14 can attend the sessions on Monday nights from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and girls grades 2 through 8 can attend the Monday sessions as well as Friday nights from 5 to 6 p.m.

Parents will need to sign a waiver prior to participating.
