Julia Sciandra named MVP at Back Mountain Basketball Shootout tournament

The Dallas sixth grade girls are champions of the 2016 Back Mountain Basketball Shootout hosted at Lake-Lehman High School from March 10 to the 13. The Lady Mounts were a perfect 4-0 in the tournament. Julia Sciandra was named Most Valuable Player. Julia is the granddaughter of Rosemary Frati, Attilio “Butch” Frati and Mary Sciandra, all of Pittston, and great-granddaughter of Chris Latona, Pittston City controller.
