PITTSTON — The 2017 Book It Through Pittston Run/Walk was held Sept. 10 in memory of the late Tom and Dianne Tigue. The Tigues’ grandchildren received a plaque of recognition presented to the family. Pat Leonard was the overall winner with a time of 18:38 and 14-year-old Aubrianna Marranca, a Wyoming Area student, was the first place female finisher with a time of 22:46.

Over 50 walkers and runners participated in the 2nd Annual Book It Through Pittston 5K Race for Literacy on Sept. 9 in downtown Pittston.
