Pittston Area grad Pat Mitchell contributing to King’s basketball team

Pat Mitchell has gotten playing time in the last four King’s College men’s basketball games.

The 6-foot-5 freshman forward/center from Pittston Area did not play in the first two games, but has played 27 minutes in the four games since for the Monarchs (3-3).

Mitchell had two points and a rebound Tuesday in a 74-72 win at Muhlenberg College in Allentown.

On the season, Mitchell has hit four of his seven shots from the floor and his only foul shot. He is averaging 2.3 points and 2.0 rebounds.

King’s is back in action Tuesday at Drew University in Madison, N.J.
