Moose note 100 years with party

Moose Lodge 1207 hosted a 100th anniversary open house and party for members and guests on Saturday, December 8. At the open house from 1 to 5 p.m. souvenirs and memorabilia from over the century were displayed.


Speakers were West Pittston Historian Bill Hastie George Nisky, the oldest living member who joined in 1948 and is a past president.


In conjunction with the Lodge's 100th anniversary celebration, member Doug Warabak embark left on bike ride to Florida dubbed Doug's Tour de Moose to raise money for the Moosehaven Endowment Fund.


As of Saturday Warabak was in Maryland.
