Pittston City annoucnes the annual Christmas tree lighting will be held on Sunday, December 2.

It will be held in the lower Tomato Festival lot across from the Open Space.

The events will begin at 6:30 p.m.

Free hot chocolate will be provided and children can enjoy a visit from Santa Claus, who will arrive on the fire truck.

There will also be caroling for those who wish to participate.

Come out for a memorable holiday event in downtown Pittston.
