Slovak League outing today

Robert M. Chmarney, president of the Luzerne County Slovak League of America, Branch 474, announced that the annual outing will be held today, Sunday, Aug. 19, starting at noon at the Plains Pavilion, Plains Twp.

There will be music and games along with goulash and other ethnic foods.

The current officers of the league are: Robert M. Chmarney, president; Andrew J. Barilla, vice president; Christopher Nalewajko, treasurer; George A. Nisky, secretary; Mark Manganaro, chaplain; Joseph Severnak, sergeant-at-arms; Eugene McKeown, Bernard Novabilski and David Ciotola, trustees.
