YATESVILLE — The Pittston Area girls basketball team hosted the annual Legends Game tournament Saturday, May 28 at the Pittston Area High School gymnasium.
Alumni from Pittston Area, Wyoming Area, Scranton Prep and Seton Catholic participated. A portion of the proceeds went to the girls basketball trip to West Virginia’s Team Camp.
There were a total of four women’s teams and two men’s teams. The Pittston Area women beat Seton Catholic and then the Wyoming Area women. On the men’s side, Pittston Area played Seton Catholic with the Seton men coming out with a 59-56 win.
Following those games, the teachers from the intermediate center played the teachers from the middle school. The intermediate center came out on top.
On Friday, there was a Legends Game social held at the Red Mill.
