FALLS — The annual Kids Helping Kids Golf Tournament was held on Monday, Aug. 15 at Emanon Country Club. The tournament was open to children, both autistic and non-autistic, with proceeds benefiting SAFE (Supporting Autism and Families Everywhere).
The players, under 16, played holes 5 through 13 with their parents. Along with the event, each player was awarded a medal and prizes. There was a pizza party, hot dogs, snacks and an ice cream truck.
On Saturday, Aug. 20, the course will host the Emanon President’s Day for Autism Golf Tournament with proceeds also benefiting SAFE. Fore more information on the tournament call the pro shop at 570-388-6112.
