WEST PITTSTON — The Wyoming Area Football Alumni Association inducted four new members to the Ring of Pride at halftime of Friday night’s game with Scranton Prep.
The following players were inducted: Matt Williams a 2003 Wyoming Area graduate; Larry Marianacci, a 1978 Wyoming Area graduate; Chris Towns, a 1998 Wyoming Area graduate; and Marty Pepe, a 1991 Wyoming Area graduate.
The 50th anniversary celebration of Wyoming Area’s first football team was also held. The school honored the 1966 team, the first in school history.
Homecoming for Wyoming Area will be held at the Friday, Oct. 7 game against GAR.
