DURYEA — The Duryea Betterment Committee will host the first Heritage Day Celebration from 3 to 8 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Germania Hose Company grounds. Heritage Day will celebrate the origins of the town and its ethnic roots in a free, family-friendly event open to all.
There will be food and refreshments for sale served by local vendors with music, entertainment, small games of changes and a special presentation by the founders of the Duryea History webpage.
