KINGSTON — Wyoming Seminary College Preparatory School held its 173rd Baccalaureate and Commencement at 1 p.m. Sunday, May 28, as 131 seniors from five states and 14 foreign countries completed their high school educations.

Eleven Greater Pittston residents were among the graduates, including Dominick D’Alessandro, West Pittston, who received the school’s Charles B. Kanarr Award for excellence in music. During his high school career, D’Alessandro was also inducted into the Cum Laude Society, the academic honor society for independent schools, and was named to the deans list with high honors for the spring term.
