The Care and Concern Free Health Clinic is open every Wednesday and is free of charge. Registration begins at 5:30 p.m. in the former Seton Catholic High School and is on a first-come, first-served basis.

Patients for The Pediatric Health Clinic opens at 4:30 p.m. on the first Thursday and third Thursday of the month at the Care and Concern facility, 37 William St. Children’s immunization records are required upon registration. Parents or guardians must be present to have their child examined. All services are free and confidential.

The food pantry is always in need of the following items: cereal, tuna, peanut butter, jelly, canned fruit, soups, vegetables, canned hams and other non-perishable items. Call 570-654-9923 for more information.

Once again, the church is sponsoring the Angel Project. Catholic Social Services will give the name tags of 125 children who are in need of gifts for Christmas. The name tags have been distributed and parishioners are to take a tag, buy the gifts on the tag (you do not need to buy all the gifts on the tag), wrap the gifts and put the tag either on top of the gift or on the bag if you use a gift bag. Please return the gifts with the tag by the weekend of Dec. 10.

The Annual Christmas concert will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 10. The program will feature both the St. Maria Goretti Adult Choir and Youth Choir as well as solo performances. Admission is free. Light refreshments will follow.  

The Rec Board will hold its annual Christmas Party at 1 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 17 in the church banquet center.
