Pittston Area students participate in ‘Hour of Code’ event

HUGHESTOWN — Students from Mrs. Tara Craig’s Computer Programming Classes at Pittston Area High School recently visited the Intermediate Center to celebrate Nation Computer Science Education Week.

The students participated in The National initiative called “Hour of Code,” which was started as a one-hour introduction to computer science. It is designed to explain what “code” is, to show that anybody can learn the basics, and to broaden participation in the field of computer science.
