The Friends of the Pittston Memorial Library recently presented a $5,000 check to Patricia Joyce, library director, for implementation of 2018 library programs servicing infants to senior citizens. A gift card in the amount of $881 from the proceeds from the Annual Barnes & Noble Book Fair fundraiser held in December was also presented. The card will be used to purchase books and supplies for the library.
