DURYEA — The Duryea Sons of the American Legion Squadron 585 will hold its sixth annual chicken barbeque and gun raffle at noon Saturday, May 19.
Dinner tickets are $12 and include half a barbequed chicken, season baked potato, corn on the cob, pasta salad, homemade cole slaw, baked beans, roll and cake.
Dining options are eat in or takeout and this event it open to the public.
Tickets for the gun raffle are currently on sale at $3 each or two for $5.
First prize is a Remington 783 with scope or common caliber. Second prize is a Remington 870 Shotgun. Third prize is a Ruger 9E 9mm. Fourth prize is a Ruger LCP 1st Generation 380. Fifth prize is a $50 gift card to Field & Stream. Sixth prize is a $50 fift card to Komensky’s Market, Duryea.
Weapons are supplied by Advanced Arms, Pittston Township.
