Our Lady of Fatima is calling to Pay for Peace in the World and Meditate on the Mysteries of the Rosary. In response to her call, a monthly evening of prayer and song will be held in the chapel. The evenings will be led by Ernie Pappa and will include hymns and Fatima prayers, the Rosary, scriptural mysteries in song, and the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7:30 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in the rectory.

The annual all-you-can-eat pig roast will be held from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, July 8. Takeout dinners will be available all day. Additional seating will be available under an outdoor tent. The menu includes roasted pig on the spit, wimpies, hot dogs, corn on the cob, salads, desserts, soda, and water. There will also be a cash prize grand raffle, basket raffle, children’s games and a bake sale. Tickets, which are $20 for adults, $10 for children 6-12, and free for children 5 and younger, are available in advance or at the event. The Solemnity of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus is celebrated on Friday, June 8. A special Mass will be celebrated in the church hall at 6 p.m. During this Mass, the Enthronement Ceremony of the Sacred Heart will be celebrated and the Act of Consecration and the Litany of the Sacred Heart will be recited. Participants may bring an image of the Sacred Heart for blessing and certificates will be distributed.
