FORTY FORT — CASA of Luzerne County’s will host its Third Annual CASAblanca Fundraiser from 6 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 20 in Room 900 at Canteen 900, 900 Rutter Ave.

For two consecutive years, this event has brought together over 300 voices of Luzerne County business leaders, politicians, volunteers, donors and friends, to raise funds and awareness all in support of one goal. That goal is, to provide a dedicated advocate for every child in the Luzerne County foster care system.

This year’s event, An Evening in CASAblanca, promises even more excitement. Attendees will experience an evening filled with elegance, generosity, and true spirit! From the excitement of casino tables to delicious food and cocktails, to the inspiring stories reminding us of the importance and meaning of the CASA mission: This year’s event is not to be missed.

CASA of Luzerne County’s mission is to provide a Court Appointed Special Advocate to every child in the Luzerne County foster care system. Currently, there are still 424 children in the foster care system in need of a CASA.
