‘Trick or Treat Main Street’ is Oct. 19 in Pittston City


PITTSTON — The City of Pittston will hold fourth annual “Trick or Treat Main Street” Halloween event from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Oct. 19.

Trick or Treat Main Street consists of events in the lower Tomato Festival Lot, Pocket Park, and trick or treating in downtown businesses.

Inside the lower Tomato Festival Lot will be Halloween-themed games, a bounce house, tractor rides around downtown provided by Cremard Brothers Excavating of Duryea, vendors including Brace’s Orchard, a DJ, and a costume contest starting at 6:30 p.m. Apet costume contest will be held at 6:45 p.m.

The Music Scene is sponsoring a “Zombie Dance Party” in the Pocket Park (adjacent to Napoli’s Pizza). Balloon artist TJ Belt can also be found there making free balloon creations for children.

Some of the downtown businesses participating in trick or treating include Landmark Community Bank, Knights of Columbus, Pittston Dental, Greater Pittston Regional Ambulance, Vince’s Pizza, Joyce Insurance, Fidelity Bank, Napoli’s Pizzeria, Fuji Asian Bistro, Greater Pittston YMCA, Wells Fargo, Leverage Fitness Studio, Marc’s Tattooing, Arcaro’s the Next Generation, Callahan’s, CityTrenz Boutique, LCCC, Spotlight Dance Studio, and Art e Fekts Gallery.
