PITTSTON — The bus trip to Silver Birches will depart at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 13

Line dancing classes with Sue are held at 10 a.m. every Monday. Exercise classes with Catherine and Ruth are held at 9 a.m. Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Sandi offers chair exercise classes at 11 a.m. Tuesdays and at 9 a.m. Thursdays. There is no charge for these classes.
Ceramic Class with Ann is held from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Bingo with Ron and Amy is held from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesdays and Fridays and also from 1 to 3 p.m. Wednesdays. Shuffleboard matches are held at 10 a.m. Wednesdays where the men challenge the women. Helen Shannon is the captain. Craft class with Faye is held at 10 a.m. Thursdays. Wii Bowling with John is also offered.
Geri Fit Fitness Classes Are Being Offered. This exercise program has been proven effective for improving muscular strength, balance, coordination, motor skills, flexibility, arthritis and much more. There is no choreography, dancing, aerobics or floor work used in this program. Most of the exercises are performed seated in chairs. This is a different kind of workout which is fun yet very challenging. There is no charge for these classes which will are held every Tuesday and Friday. EXETER TWP. — Book club will meet at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Sept. 11 to discuss “The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society” by Annie Barrows and Mary Ann Shaffer.

Dipped pretzel rolls will be made from 10 a.m. to noon Wednesday, Sept. 13 for the craft show bake sale.

The Mobile Food Pantry will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 15. Volunteers are needed at 9 a.m. to help package food for the pantry.
The center is holding its annual craft fair and bake sale on from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 16, rain or shine. All craft vendors will be outside. There is still space available for $10. Lunch & Learn will be held at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 21 with Mary Reeves, LSW from the Gardens in Tunkhannock who will discuss “Staying Healthy, Avoiding Infections.”

A nurse from the the Meadows will be available from 12:4o to 1 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 28 for blood pressure screenings. Melissa from the Meadows will call bingo at 1 p.m., which is sponsored by the Meadows on this day.
COSMOPOLITAN SENIORS
Club will meet Sept. 19
EXETER — The next meeting of the Cosmopolitan Seniors will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 19 in St. Anthony’s Parish Center. Bakers for this meeting are Lucy Pocceschi, Irene Kovaleski, John Kovaleski, and Rose Gunsior.
At the Sept. 5 meeting the 50/50 winners were Edmund Czachor, Irene Parini, Theresa Bekanich, Ann Marie Shedlock, Toni Hall. The special game was won by Rosalie Ferrer. The cover all was shared by Theresa Blasavage and George Mislan.
The next trip to Sands Casino will be on Thursday, Oct.19. Call Johanna at 570-655-2720 for information. It is not a requirement to be a club member to go on this trip.
