AVOCA — A Christmas party for borough children 10 and under was held Dec. 9 at Queen of the Apostoles Parish on Hawthorne Street. The event, sponsored by the Avoca Neighborhood Crime Watch, Avoca Hose Co. and Avoca Lions Club, offered pizza, drinks, prizes and visit from Santa Claus himself.
