Chuck’s Auction Service holds annual Benefit Tree Party

Chuck’s Auction Service and its ‘Friday Families’ held its annual Benefit Tree Project on Dec. 8. Santa Claus and his elves were on hand, as participants enjoyed a unique auction experience while raising money for the Commission on Economic Opportunity’s ‘People Helping People’ program and the United States Marine Corps’ Toys for Tots program. The tree purchased during Friday’s event will be given to a struggling family in the area who would not otherwise have one for the Christmas season. The event raised a record $11,000 to help less fortunate families in our community.
