Maria named to dean’s list
BETHLEHEM — Charlotte Maria, Wyoming, was named to the Lehigh University dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.
Gutkowski named to dean’s list
PHILADELPHIA — Michael Gutowski, son of Babe and Jeanne Gutkowski, of West Avoca, and grandson of Evelyn Gutowski, of Duryea, was named to the Fox School of Business at Temple University dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.
He studies Finance and is a member of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars and Golden Key International Honour Society.
This past year, Gutkowski was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the exclusive business honor society.
Magdon named to dean’s list
NORTHFIELD, V.T. — Irene Evelyn Magdon, Dupont, was named to the Norwich University dean’s list for the 2018 spring semester.
Diaz earns degree
LEXINGTON, V.A. — Salvadore Joseph Diaz, Duryea, received a BAC degree cum laude from Washington and Lee University on May 24.
Diaz majored in Economics and Politics.
Locals participate in pinning ceremony
DALLAS — Kalli Miller, of Pittston, Felicia Turner, Elyssa Yanik and Samantha Scalzo, all of West Pittston, participated in a pinning ceremony held in Lemmond Theater at Misericordia University to honor undergraduate nursing students in the Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing (BSN) program an the RN to BSN Expressway Accelerated Degree Program who graduated May 12.
Golden named to dean’s list
