PITTSTON — The Pittston City Farmers’ Market will hold its first Children’s Day of the season from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 24.

Jubilee Balloon Creations will make free balloon sculptures for children from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be Story Time with Miss Maria of the Pittston Memorial Library from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., and Mary Baker, an interactive children’s musician, will invite children to play along with her from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

There will be appearances by Stew the Tomato of the Pittston Tomato Festival and Britney Cheskiewicz, Tomato Queen from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Tours of Greater Pittston Regional Ambulance, City of Pittston Bureau of Fire and City of Pittston Police Department vehicles will be available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the fire house.

Callahan’s Cafe and Coffee House Ice Cream Cart will be available from 11 a.m. to 2 pm. and Juggler Rob Smith will perform from noon to 1 p.m.

A second Children’s Day will be held Tuesday, Aug. 21.
