“It really feels great; it’s exhilarating really and it’s such an honor to be in the same group of business people in this room.” he said. “We’d really like to thank the Chamber of Commerce, the Board of Directors, Michelle and Brandi for all they do for businesses and the community.”

Make My Day has been touted as a day to “stroll through downtown Pittston to experience everything you need to plan your next big event.” The event is targeted to future brides and parties.

The highlight of the day will take place at 3 p.m. at the River Park when Erin and Michael Berlew will renew their wedding vows.
“We are staging all of downtown and downtown stores for a variety of different parties including a 21 and over birthday party at Cooper’s Cabana, a wedding at River Front, and events will be happening all over town,” Mikitish said. “And don’t worry about walking, Parrish Limousines will be driving people around town and Sweet Pepper & the Long Hots will be performing at the Tomato Festival lot.”
