EXETER TWP. — With the fall hunting seasons fast approaching, Rep. Aaron Kaufer (R-Luzerne) will host a Hunter Education Course from 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6 at the Exeter Township Municipal Building, 2305 State Route 92

“By law, all first-time hunters and trappers must successfully complete Hunter-Trapper Education training before they can buy a Pennsylvania hunting or trapping license,” Kaufer said. “This free course I’m hosting, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Game Commission, will provide would-be hunters with the knowledge they need to safely hunt.”

A training certificate, which is recognized throughout North America, is awarded when attendees pass a test at the end of the course. Registrants must be at least 11 years old to attend. Visit pgc.pa.gov for more information about the training.

RSVP is required due to limited seating. Sign up online at RepKaufer.com or by calling 570-283-1001.
