Luca Argenio posted a straight sets victory at No. 1 singles for Wyoming Area in Friday’s home loss.
Argenio defeated Xavier Bleiler 6-2, 6-3.
The Warriors won just three games in the other matches.
Tunkhannock 5, Pittston Area 0
Tunkhannock dropped just three games in singles play and added two forfeit victories in doubles Friday.
Nick Jones won two games in the second set at third singles.
Pittston Area fell to 1-8.
Wyoming Area 3, Wilkes-Barre Area 2
Luca Argenio and Christian Abromavage pulled close singles victories to help Wyoming Area post its second straight win during Tuesday’s home match.
Argenio won in three sets at No. 1 and Abromavage escaped a second-set tiebreaker at No. 2.
Argenio defeated Michael Hamel, one of the WVC’s top singles players, 6-0, 3-6, 6-2.
Abromavage defeated Robert Ashford, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4).
Liam Burke-Dominic Colavito added a 6-0, 6-3 victory over Harold Stella-Rashir Williams at first doubles.

Wyoming Area picked up points at the first two singles spots and No. 1 doubles in Monday’s road match.
Luca Argenio won 6-0, 6-0 at first singles while Christian Abromavage won 6-3, 6-0.
Liam Burke-Dominic Colavito added a 6-2, 6-2 victory at first doubles.
