Carlee Monko won the 50- and 100-yard freestyles Tuesday as Lake-Lehman edged host Wyoming Area to take over second place in Wyoming Valley Conference girls swimming from the Lady Warriors.
Lake-Lehman took the lead in the meet when Sage Morgan led a sweep of the top three spots in the 500 freestyle.
Wyoming Area’s Ella McKernan won diving.
The Lady Knights are 8-1 and trailing only unbeaten Dallas in the standings. The Lady Warriors slipped to 8-2.
Pittston Area girls 85, Berwick 85
Berwick won the closing 400-yard relay Tuesday to earn a tie with visiting Pittston Area.
Brooke Hintze, Kate O’Hearn and Gabby Gorzkowski each won an individual event for Pittston Area.
Madilyn Andrews won the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley to lead Berwick.
The Lady Patriots are 5-4-2.
Pittston Area boys 83, Berwick 46
Jake Grzech won the 100-yard backstroke and 100 freestyle to lead Pittston Area to Tuesday’s road win.
The Patriots improved to 3-8.

The Black Knights swept every event at Wyoming Valley in Tuesday’s romp.
The Warriors are 1-9.
