WILKES-BARRE – Liz Waleski made the most of her playing time and shots Feb. 10 when Misericordia University visited Wilkes University.
Waleski scored nine points in 11 minutes to help Misericordia to an 87-54 women’s basketball romp, one of the late-season wins that helped the team make the Middle Atlantic Conference Freedom playoffs.
The junior from Pittston Area made both of her foul shots, both of her field goal attempts from inside the arc and one of her two 3-point attempts.
