Wyoming Area’s Kristi Skok will attend King’s College

Wyoming Area softball player Kristi Skok recently announced the decision to continue her academic and athletic careers at King’s College during a signing ceremony at the school. Skok started from early in her freshman year in softball where she plays third base and first base. She also made some varsity basketball appearances as a freshman, saw regular playing time as a sophomore and started most of her senior year in that sport. In softball, Skok was 17-for-29 (.586) in a nine-game hitting streak that ended May 17. She leads the team in batting average (.439), RBI (17) and hits (25) and shares the lead in doubles (9) while ranking second in runs (15). She is batting at least .379 for the third straight season and has a .364 average with 32 runs and 51 RBI in 78 career games.
