Pittston Area quarterback Walter Coles announced his committee to play football at Lycoming University during a spring signing ceremony at the school. Coles was a three-year varsity football player and four-year member of the track and field team where he was a District 2 medalist as a thrower. He passed for more than 2,100 yards as a senior after surpassing the 1,500-yard mark in his junior season.
