PITTSTON — It may still be the week before Christmas, but the organizers of the Pittston St. Patrick’s Day Parade have some big news.

Organizers of the event announced this past week who will lead their 2018 parade. Former city fire chief and mayor Joseph Keating will be the parade’s grand mashal.

Keating will help lead the parade through downtown Pittston on Saturday, March 8.

The 2018 edition of the parade will be the fourth annual event. The Times Leader Media Group is the official media sponsor of the parade.
