Elizabeth Marranca and Attorney Joseph A. Dessoye, together with their families, are pleased to announce their engagement and upcoming marriage.
Elizabeth is the daughter of Marie and Joseph P. Marranca of West Pittston. She is the granddaughter of Julie and James Chimento, Pittston, and Elizabeth and the late Joseph J. Marranca, West Pittston.
A 2000 Wyoming Area graduate, Elizabeth earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from Penn State University in 2004. She is currently employed as a substitute teacher in the Wyoming Area School District.
Joseph is the son of Rosemary and Joseph M. Dessoye of Pittston. He is the grandson of Nancy Dessoye and the late Joseph Dessoye, Pittston, and the late Dolores and Angelo C. Terrana, Pittston.
Joseph is a 1998 graduate of Pittston Area High School and a 2002 graduate of Penn State University. where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in History. Joseph received his Juris Doctor degree from the Thomas M. Cooley Law School, Lansing, Michigan, in 2005. He is a practicing attorney with Terrana Law, P.C., Kingston.
The couple will exchange vows on July 26, 2008 at Immaculate Conception Church in West Pittston, Pa.
